Summary

Throughout this module we looked at the definition of animal welfare, how to assess animal welfare, understanding animal welfare, and understanding different animal legislations. Going against any of these legislations can not only lead to a fine, but also time in prison. All animals must be treated with respect, dignity and ensured that all their needs are met.
