Summary

Throughout this module we’ve looked at understanding a hamster’s history, the different breeds of hamster, and how to look after a hamster. With hamsters being nocturnal, most of their exercise, eating and drinking will be done whilst you’re asleep. However, this doesn’t mean that they won’t occasionally get up during the day. Making sure they always have fresh food, water and clean bedding will make for a happy, healthy hamster which, in turn, will help you sleep better.
